PicoProbe Tips
Tungsten probe tips for everyday probing — most commonly 100 nm radius, packaged under protective atmosphere.
One shaft, a spread of tip radii#
PicoProbe tips are solid tungsten needles on a 0.5 mm shaft, sized to the contact you need to make. The PT-100 ships with a 100 nm tip radius for routine probing, and the same tungsten process reaches down to 5 nm for finer contacts elsewhere in the range — pre-bent tips are available on request if your geometry calls for an angled approach.
Ready straight from the package#
Every tip is individually packaged in a protective atmosphere and arrives ready for use without further processing — no conditioning, no cleaning step. Exchange happens outside the microscope, so a worn or contaminated tip swaps out in seconds rather than costing you a vacuum cycle. PicoProbe tips pair directly with the MM3A-EM micromanipulator.
