Tilt-Rotation Stage
A compact manual tilt-and-rotation stage that drops into the Phenom sample holder.

Two axes, one holder#
The Tilt-Rotation Stage (RT) is a compact, manual stage that drops straight into the Phenom’s sample holder, combining a tilt axis — adjustable from +90° down to −3° — with a full 360° of rotation. It is the most general-purpose member of Kleindiek’s Phenom positioner family: where T covers tilt alone and RET/RETE fix or encode the geometry, RT leaves both axes free for the operator to set by hand.
Dial in the angle, then narrow it#
For repeated small adjustments around a chosen angle, the tilt axis can be manually limited to ±3° — useful for series work such as 3D imaging, where the sample is tilted through a small range for each successive image.
